Beef Tartare with Kaluga Caviar
Ready to try something new? This is the perfect dish for those who want to enjoy a unique taste and simplicity of preparation!
Beef Tartare🥩
Ingredients:
- 200 g. lb a very good lean steak, like sirloin, beef tenderloin, or top round beef
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Egg yolks
- 2 tsp capers, chopped
- 2 tsp cornichons (or other small pickles), finely chopped
- 1/2 small shallot, finely chopped
- 2 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Oyster sauce
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Caviar for serving from CAVIART
- Baguette slices or crackers for serving
Instructions:
1. Start by finely chopping the beef tenderloin into small pieces. Make sure to use a sharp knife and a clean cutting board.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped beef, egg yolk, Dijon mustard, capers, cornichons, shallot, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, Oyster sauce and olive oil. Mix well to combine.
3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. If you like it spicy, add a few dashes of Tabasco sauce.
4. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
5. To serve, you can either shape the beef mixture into small patties using a ring mold or simply spoon it onto plates.
6. Serve the beef tartare with caviar, baguette slices or crackers on the side for scooping.
